Terms of Service
This website is operated by pjc studio. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to pjc studio.
By accessing this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced on our website.
Products
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products. Because many pjc studio products are produced in small batches, minor variations in appearance, colour, finish and other characteristics may occur.
Candle wax and fragrance products can also naturally vary slightly between batches. These variations do not necessarily indicate a product defect.
Product images may be styled for presentation, and colours can appear differently depending on your screen or device.
Pricing and availability
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Product availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products where reasonably necessary.
We may correct genuine pricing, product-description or website errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before taking further action where required.
Orders
Placing an order does not prevent us from cancelling or refunding an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Pre-orders
Products offered for pre-order will include an estimated availability or dispatch timeframe. These dates are estimates and may change due to production, supplier or shipping circumstances. If there is a significant delay, we will provide an update and any options required by applicable law.
Product safety
Candles must be used in accordance with the safety and care instructions supplied with the product or displayed on our website. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.
Reed diffusers and fragrance products should be used only as directed. Keep fragrance liquids away from children and pets and take care to protect furniture and other surfaces from spills.
Intellectual property
The pjc studio name, branding, product photography, written content, graphics and other original website material are owned by or licensed to pjc studio and must not be reproduced or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party services
Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party providers for payments, shipping and other services. Those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will be published on this website.
